OLEAN, N.Y. — For the third game in a row, Davidson was unable to shake off a tough third quarter as it was outscored 23-13 by St. Bonaventure and fell on the road Sunday afternoon, 68-56, in an Atlantic 10 women's basketball inside the Reilly Center.
The Wildcats fell to 13-10 overall and 6-4 in A-10 action, while the Bonnies moved to 7-17 and 4-7 in league play.
Davidson looked to be in control, going up 10 (36-26) on a fast-break layup from Chloe Welch with 7:17 to go in the third quarter. But, it would score just six more points the rest of the way and St. Bonaventure rolled off a 21-6 rally to go up 47-42 at the end of the quarter.
The Wildcats, who shot just 5-of-14 in the third and 1-for-6 from downtown, scored just 14 more points in the fourth quarter when it hit only 5-of-18 shots. They finished the game hitting only 22-of-66 shots overall (33.3 percent) and went 5-of-21 from behind the arc.

Welch paced the offense with 13 points, while Suzi-Rose Deegan chipped in with 12. Fuller scored eight points to go with eight rebounds, and Cameron Tabor also scored eight off the bench.
Pacing the scoring for the Bonnies was Olivia Brown with 20 points, getting 12 of them on three-pointers. She netted 15 of those points in the second half, including 10 in the fourth quarter.
Asianae Johnson (13) and Emily Calabrese (12) also reached double digits, and SBU as a team shot 47.5 percent from the floor with a 6-for-14 showing on threes.
Despite a 4-of-18 shooting, including 0-for-5 from behind the arc, in the first quarter, Davidson trailed just 9-8 after the first 10 minutes.
The Wildcats found their shot in the second quarter. They hit half of their 16 attempts, with three falling from deep, and used a 10-4 run to close the quarter to erase a one-point deficit and take a 29-24 lead at halftime.
