Davidson to Host First Round of WBB A-10 Championship

2020 A-10 First Round Tickets
DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Atlantic 10 office confirmed Saturday night the official seeds and host schools for the Women's Basketball Championship, and the Davidson women's basketball team has secured a host position for the First Round next Tuesday, March 3, inside John M. Belk Arena.
The game next Tuesday will be at 7 p.m., while the Wildcats' earned the No. 7 seed and will face 10th-seeded La Salle. Both teams just played each other this past Wednesday, Feb. 26, with the 'Cats picking a 70-61 overtime win on the road.
Tickets for next Tuesday's game are available by clicking on the link above or here on A-10 First Round Tickets. A reminder that Davidson season tickets are not valid for this game and there are no comp. tickets or passes. Davidson students can still get in FREE with their school ID.
With their win Wednesday at La Salle, the Wildcats (15-14, 8-8 A-10) were able to secure one of the No. 3-8 seeds to be able to host the first round. The top two seeds, No. 1 Dayton and No. 2 VCU, earned byes into the quarterfinals, while seeds No. 9-14 will travel to a host sights. This year's WBB Championship will be held at Dayton, March 6-8.
A year ago, Davidson hosted its first round game against St. Bonaventure and won the program's first-ever game in the championship to advance to the quarterfinals.
