DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson begins a key two-game homestand this weekend when it hosts Massachusetts on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Atlantic 10 women's basketball inside John M. Belk Arena.
The Wildcats (13-7, 6-1 A-10) are sitting all alone in second place, ahead of UMass and one game off co-leaders VCU (7-0) and Dayton (7-0), which they host Wednesday night.
The Minutewomen come into Sunday's game with a 15-6 overall record and are 5-3 in A-10 play after securing a 64-50 home win on Wednesday against Richmond.

Sunday's game is National Girls and Women in Sports Day as well as Girl Scouts Day. All girl scouts will receive FREE admission to the game.

•Senior Hailey Leidel had 11 points to eclipse 1,700 in her career. In doing so, Leidel became the first player in Massachusetts' program history to record 1,700 points, 600 rebounds and 200 assists in a career.
•On the season, Leidel is pacing the offense with a 16.6 points per game average, good for third in the league overall.
•Breen is right behind Leidel at 16.3 points per game and has a team-best 8.3 rebounding average.
