Naime Captures Pan Arab Championship

MOROCCO – Davidson's Dean Naime recently captured the Pan Arab Championship with a 72-hole total of 274 (-14) December 12-15, 2019 at Amelkis Golf Club.
A sophomore from Cairo, Egypt, Naime opened with consecutive rounds of 71, before playing his final 36 holes in 12-under par.
As a freshman at Colgate, Naime was named the 2019 Patriot League Rookie of the Year before transferring to Davidson.
During the fall with the Wildcats, he competed in all four events posting a 74.83 stroke average, which included a pair of sub-par rounds and one Top-15 finish.

Davidson will open its 2020 spring season at the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C., Feb. 24-25.
