
First Place Wildcats Host GW Saturday in A-10 Play

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Riding a four-game winning streak and sitting in a tie for first place in the Atlantic 10, Davidson will look to keep the momentum going Saturday at 1 p.m. when they play George Washington in women's basketball inside John M. Belk Arena in the Wildcats' "Orange Out" game.
The 'Cats (11-6), who are tied with UMass and Dayton at the top of the league standings, are off to a 4-0 start in A-10 play for the second consecutive season. Their four-game winning streak is the longest this year, topping the pair of three-game streaks they had earlier this season.
GW enters Saturday's game with a 7-9 mark and 1-2 in A-10 play. The Colonials have been off since last Sunday.
GAME PROMOTION ... "ORANGE OUT"
Wednesday's game is Davidson's third annual "Orange Out" game to raise money for Leukemia & Lymphoma and to honor current Wildcat Andrea Robinson, who went through Leukemia treatment in 2018-19. The first 100 fans to Saturday's game will get a FREE Orange T-shirt, while everyone is encouraged to wear orange and show their support. Students are encouraged to come and break last year's attendance of 731.
