NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — For the second straight week, Davidson freshman volleyball player Madeline Wynn has earned an Atlantic 10 Conference honor.
She's this week's A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week, sharing the award with Dayton's Amelia Moore.
"Madeline really strung together some great matches this week," said Davidson coach Chris Willis. "I'm really proud of what she's done, and I'm happy a middle got it because it means we're passing and setting well as a team."
In four matches, the middle blocker from Savannah, Ga., had 28 kills and 15 blocks. She had 11 kills against Jacksonville and 10 against Charlotte and hit .302 for the week.
Additionally, Wynn is among the league leaders in hitting percentage (.345, third) and blocks per set (1.24, fourth).
