NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Justin Stone of the Davidson men's soccer team has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for games played Sept. 9-15, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Stone shares this week's honor with Duquesne's Nate Dragisich.
A freshman from Cary, N.C., Stone scored both the Wildcat goals in their 3-2 setback at former SoCon rival Furman over the weekend.
Through four contests, Stone leads Davidson with three goals.
The Wildcats will conclude their stretch of four straight against NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago Tuesday evening at nationally-ranked North Carolina.
