DURHAM, N.C. –The Davidson men's track and field team wrapped up the final day of the Duke Invitational Saturday at Morris Williams Stadium.
Sophomore Daniel Alvarez lowered his personal best in the 800-meters, stopping the clock in 1:52.62, good for 12th overall.
Freshman Cory Gaither lowered his PR in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 53.37 seconds, ninth overall, while senior Sean Caveney was close behind in 53.55 seconds.
Freshman Max Pearson competed well in the 1500-meter run, stopping the clock in 4:01.26.
Davidson next returns to the track Saturday, May 4 on the first day of the Atlantic 10 Championship.
