RALEIGH, N.C. –Davidson junior James Davis won the pole vault at the Terrier Relays, while the 'Cats also set a relay record at the Raleigh Relays in split squad action Saturday.
The Wildcats opened the day in the state capital with a program record in the 4x1500-meter relay. The result was eighth overall.

Down in Spartanburg, S.C., Davis cleared 4.45-meters (14'7.25) in the vault to earn his first victory of the season. Davis and Ohio Wesleyan's Jaysen Blankenship both cleared 4.45m, but Davis needed fewer attempts at 4.30m to break the tie.
