Volleyball Opens Spring Play March 23

Spring volleyball competition is just around the corner, and Davidson coach Chris Willis is hopeful he'll see his players continue to develop individually and as a team as they build toward August.
The Wildcats will open spring competition March 23 against multiple teams (TBA) at the Carolina Union Volleyball Club in Charlotte. Play begins at 10 a.m.
On March 27, Davidson will host Wingate at 5:30 p.m. in Belk Arena.
The Wildcats will visit High Point on April 4 at 6 p.m., and on April 13, Davidson will play a sand match against Georgia College at Blythe Landing in Huntersville, beginning at 10 a.m.
"We're excited about our spring schedule," said Willis. "It gives us the opportunity to try different systems and lineups in a competitive environment. The biggest factor we want to see is growth in our players regardless of outcome."
Davidson went 12-13 in 2018 and returns seven of its top 10 players.
