Stone and Hauth Grab A-10 Weekly Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson's Lucas Hauth has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week, while fellow forward Justin Stone grabbed his second Rookie-of-the-Week honor, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Hauth and Stone scored two goals each in the Wildcats' 5-0 blanking of Duquesne to wrap up regular-season play.
In addition to the second two-goal performance of his freshman campaign, Stone added an assist.
Hauth's first score was started when Henry Howell played it through to fellow midfielder Hugh Chatham, who slotted it across to Hauth for the finish.
Just a minute into the second half, Hauth netted his second of the night when he chested home a Stone pass played across the end line.
Stone's two goals came less than three minutes apart in the 57th and 59th minutes, respectively. The first on a one v. one chance that he chipped the keeper following a Sawyer Gaffney kick.
The freshman's final score and team-leading fifth of the season was assisted by Charlie Caswell and Hugh Chatham.
