NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Davidson volleyball players Hattie Rodriguez and Madeline Wynn have earned Atlantic 10 postseason honors, the league announced Thursday afternoon.
Rodriguez is on the A-10 Second Team, while Wynn is on the All-Rookie team.
"There are some talented athletes in the A-10, and I'm proud of the recognition that Madeline and Hattie received today," said Davidson coach Chris Willis. "They are both selfless individuals who strive for the performance of the team above their own accolades. The team is in good hands with these two on the court in the future."
Rodriguez follows Mason Rooney (2018) and Emily Franklin (2016) as Davidson's A-10 Second-Team honorees, while Wynn joins Ellie Crosley (2017) and Sabrina Shepherd (2015) as A-10 All-Rookie picks.
A sophomore outside hitter from Charlotte, Rodriguez leads the Wildcats with 315 kills and ranks fifth in the A-10 with 3.39 kills per set. She was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 4 after totaling 39 kills in a two-match weekend and had a career-high 26 kills at Fordham on Nov. 9. Rodriguez has posted double-digit kills in 13 of the last 15 matches.

She ranks fourth in the league with a .346 hitting percentage and with 1.12 blocks per set. She is second on the team with 199 kills and had a high of 15 against George Washington on Nov. 1. Wynn leads Davidson with 102 blocks, including 17 solos.
