Davidson hopes to snap a six-game losing skid to the Bulldogs. Davidson is 3-7 over the last 10 season finales including last year's thrilling 41-38 win over Butler.

LAST TIME OUT
Davidson pitched a second half shutout in a 42-14 rout at Stetson. Tied at 14 at the break, the 'Cats scored 28 unanswered in the second half with four different scorers. Junior running back Wesley Dugger reset the PFL all-time scoring record, notching career touchdowns 43 and 44. His 19 this year also broke the Davidson single-season mark. Also finding the end zone for the Wildcats in the winning effort - Jorell Story, Jalen Staples and Aris Hilliard. In punt protection mode with the defense on the field, junior Harrison Hill got around the edge and blocked a punt that was picked up and ran back the distance for his first career touchdown by Hunter Murphy. Junior quarterback Tyler Phelps completed all four of his pass attempts for 137 yards and a touchdown. The 'Cats hounded the Hatter offensive line, recording four tackles for loss. Senior linebacker George Hatalowich led the way with 11 stops and a tackle for loss.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Drake (5-5, 5-2 PFL) comes in having lost two of their last three in PFL-play. Their out of conference schedule was difficult, having played nationally ranked South Dakota State and previously ranked North Dakota. Wide receiver Devin Cates ranks third in the league with 8 touchdown grabs and 49 total receptions. Alex Rogers leads the Drake defensive effort, registering a team-high 62 tackles and 3.0 for loss.
