Men's Cross Country Tackles 10k at NCAA Southeast Regional

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – For the fourth time in five meets the Davidson men's cross country team scoring consisted of five sophomore's as the second-years led the way at the NCAA Southeast Regionals Friday at Panorama Farms.
Making his way to the top midway through the season was Max Pearson who again led the 'Cats along the 10,000-meter course Friday. The Hexham, U.K., native entered the chute in 31:58.1, 87th overall out of 232 finishers.
Davidson registered 666 points to place 23rd out of 33 teams. Virginia won the regional title with 79 points ahead of fellow ACC foes, Virginia Tech (109) and North Carolina State (116).
Next to finish the 10k course was Colin Ross in 32:22.4. Classmate George Lewis was next followed closely by Trent Turbyfill and Coleman Mitchell.
