CHARLOTTE – Davidson men's cross country competed at the Royals Cross Country Challenge at McAlpine Park Friday afternoon.
Director of Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Renny Waldron brought a select few competitors down to the Queen City Friday and was led by freshman Owen Drometer. The Medfield, Mass., native traversed the 8,000-meter course in 25:50.4. Sophomore Coleman Mitchell was next into the chute with a 25:50.9.
Wildcat sophomore Alex Ackerman was next across the line (26:27.3), while classmate Nico Agosta posted a time of 26:53.3.
Davidson returns to the trails Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Princeton Invitational. Race time is scheduled for 10 a.m.
