DAVIDSON, N.C. -Â Davidson returns to John M. Belk Arena for the lone time in January when Brown University visits Friday, Jan. 11. First bout with the Bears is slated for 3 p.m.

ABOUT DAVIDSON
A pair of Davidson grapplers enter Friday's dual with double digit win totals - heavyweight Mitchell Trigg (12-7) and 184 pounder Conor Fenn (10-9). Freshman Kyle Gorant has a shot to earn his 10th hand raising of the season at 133 pounds. The Coopersburg, Pa., native is 9-8 with a team-leading 6 pins.
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
While their paths have crossed in invitationals and opens through their storied histories, the Wildcats and Bears have never faced off in a dual match.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
Brown has yet to wrestle in a dual this season, competing in five invites to date. Their highest finish came in Annapolis when the Bears took 10th at the Navy Classic. Senior 165 pounder, Jon Viruet, jumped to 15th in the InterMat rankings, announced Tuesday. The Springfield, Mass., native leads the squad with 15 wins and has won majority of his bouts by way of major decision.

Davidson takes on Hofstra in a non-conference, neutral site dual in Lexington, S.C. on Sunday, January 20. First bout is slated for 1 p.m.
