Men’s Golf Receives Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Davidson, the 2018 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Champions, was just as impressive in the classroom, earning GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America) All-Academic Team honors, as recently announced.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic honors, a team must have a 3.0 GPA or higher for the 2017-18 academic year.
South Mountain (NJCAA DII) posted the highest overall team GPA for all divisions with a 3.78. A record number 222 teams submitted GPAs of 3.00 or higher to earn 18Birdies All-Academic Team recognition.
Davidson returns all five starters from its 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship squad. The Wildcats are coming off their first conference crown in 50 years.
