Yarbrough Named A-10 Track Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Caroline Yarbrough was tabbed the Atlantic 10 Women's Track Performer of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday.
Yarbrough reset Davidson's 5,000-meter record at the Raleigh Relays Friday at Paul Derr Track, stopping the clock in 16:20.70. The result was over 12 seconds faster than former Wildcat All-American Erin Osment's previous record of 16:32.86 set in 2015.
The A-10 Athlete of the Week honor is the first for Yarbrough this season and second for Davidson since the 'Cats went outdoors - sophomore Carly Peters was named the leagues Field Performer of the Week on Tuesday, Mar. 27.
Davidson returns to the track Saturday, April 7 at the Gamecock Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina at Cregger Track.
