Men’s Soccer Announces 2018 Spring Slate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson's 2018 spring slate will feature seven contests, including four at Alumni Stadium, as announced by head men's soccer coach Matt Spear Thursday afternoon.

"The winter and early spring semester phase have been focused on player development and team cohesion.
Intentionality, competitiveness and trust have been our primary drivers.
The emphasis has been on a growth mindset with authentic communication and problem solving to elevate individually and collectively to be our best in our daily approach to improving as men.
The spring games allow the players to activate the commitment they have put in since November.
The schedule gives them different kinds of challenges such as two contests on one date, a pro team, an international team, NCAA Division I peers and the always fun match vs. the current seniors and young alumni."
Admission to spring exhibition games at Alumni Stadium is FREE.

The team will sign autographs and hold a short skills clinic following the March 18 match with the Charlotte Independence.
In addition to the spring campaign, Davidson will host a pair of youth clinics for the Carolina Rapids (March 15, April 16) and an ID Camp (March 25).
