Corso Earns A-10 Women's T&F Rookie of the Week Recognition

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. –Davidson freshman Meghan Corso was tabbed the Atlantic 10 Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday.
The Wayne, N.J., native placed third overall in her first collegiate race at the JDL Early Bird Duals. Corso narrowly missed the program record in the 60-meter hurdles, stopping the clock in 9.24 seconds. She will look to reset Rosie Lewis' 2010 mark of 9.22 when the team returns in January.
Davidson will not return to the track until after the break when they p to the Wake Forest Invite on Saturday, Jan. 19 at JDL Fast Track.
