DAVIDSON, N.C. — Coming off a strong road win at Clemson this past Sunday, Davidson looks to carry over the momentum Tuesday morning when it hosts Presbyterian in an Education Day game at 11 a.m. inside John M. Belk Arena.
The Wildcats (5-5) will be playing their lone home game in December on Tuesday as they will finish out at Charlotte and N. C. State to close out the calendar year as well as their non-conference schedule.
Education Day
It is the fifth straight Education Day game for Davidson after hosting Gardner-Webb last year. Close to 3,000 kids are expected to attend the game from local schools Bailey Middle School, Coddle Creek Elementary, Community School of Davidson, Concord Middle School, Davidson Elementary, East Lincoln Middle School, Fred L. Wilson Elementary, Granite Quarry Elementary, Hurley Elementary, Lake Norman Charter Elementary, Lake Norman Charter Middle School, North Lincoln Middle School, Rawlinson Road Middle School, Salisbury High School, Wilson STEM Academy and Woodlawn School.

•Davidson is in its 40th season and has collected 438 wins in program history.
•The 'Cats are in their fifth year in the Atlantic 10 after a 21-year run in the SoCon.
•Davidson was picked 11th in the A-10 preseason poll, while Justine Lyon was named all-second team preseason.
•10 letterwinners return and three starters from a year ago, while three freshmen were added.
•Head coach Gayle Coats Fulks is in her second year (17-23) and has a 0-0 record against PC.
Last Game Out at Clemson, Dec. 18 ...
•Senior Justine Lyon scored a season-high 31 points and Davidson used an early fourth-quarter run to pull away in claiming a 90-80 road win against Clemson this past Sunday.
•Lyon hit 12-of-20 from the floor, including three of the 'Cats' season-high tying 11 three-pointers.
•The guard scored 16 combined points in the final two quarters, including Davidson's final 12 points in the third quarter to start the winning rally.
•Down 57-56 in the closing seconds of the third quarter, Lyon hit a buzzer-beating three to give the Wildcats the lead for good and they went on to run off a 13-4 spurt to start the fourth quarter.
•For the second time this year, the Wildcats put five players in double figures. Joining Lyon was Kianna Speight (15 points), followed by Sarah Donovan (14, 12 in the fourth quarter), Cassidy Gould with 12 points and Katie Turner with 10.
• The 'Cats went 19-for-22 at the free-throw line, hitting 10-of-12 in the closing minute.
Lyon, Gould Grab A-10 Weekly Awards ...
•Justine Lyon and Cassidy Gould earned Davidson's first weekly awards by being named the A-10 Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, Dec. 17.
•Lyon scored 31 points in helping lead Davidson to a road win at Clemson, while Gould had her third straight double figure scoring game with 12 points.
•Lyon earned her second career league weekly award with the honor.

•Justine Lyon became the 20th player in program history to reach 1,000 points last year and currently sits in 12th place all-time with 1,140. The senior ranks in the top-15 in five different categories, including field goal attempts (10th, 1,071), and free throws made (10th, 239) and attempted (10th, 345).
•Katie Turner sits in 11th place with 97 career three-pointers, while Kianna Speight is closely behind with 92 for her career for 12th place.
