• The freshmen duo of Henry Howell and Lucas Hauth lead Davidson with four goals and two assists each, while Jaylen Thompson also has 10 total points with three goals and four assists.
• This is the ninth time Davidson and Virginia Tech have met on the pitch. The Wildcats earned home victories over the Hokies in 2010 and 2013.
• Winners of three straight including a 5-2 win at No. 16 Notre Dame, the nationally-ranked Hokies enter 9-4-2 overall.

Both coaching staffs will enjoy stepping away from Conference play.
Our focus is one day and one game at a time. So we aim to prepare, execute and deliver a peak performance. Plus we believe that joy is an important foundation, especially late in the season. There is no pressure, only opportunity.
