PREGAME COMMENTS FROM HEAD COACH MATT SPEAR
We always look forward to hosting strong, ranked teams from the ACC as it's one of our program's priorities. It attracts strong recruits, it brings out the best from our players, it resonates with alumni, and it's a treat for local fans.
Both coaching staffs will enjoy stepping away from Conference play.
Our focus is one day and one game at a time. So we aim to prepare, execute and deliver a peak performance. Plus we believe that joy is an important foundation, especially late in the season. There is no pressure, only opportunity.
