Yarbrough Earns A-10 Performer of the Week Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson women's cross country senior Caroline Yarbrough was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Performer of the Week, announced by the league Tuesday.
Yarbrough helped lead the Wildcats to a team victory at the Royals XC Challenge last Friday, crossing the line in third place out of a massive 413-runner field. She stopped the clock in 17:04, setting a new personal best 5k XC result and the third fastest time recorded in program history.
Yarbrough is the first Davidson team member to earn a league honor this season, but is not her first all-time. The Greensboro, N.C., took home outdoor track Performer of the Week accolades back on April 3. Sarah Sears '18 was the last Wildcat to earn XC weekly recognition in October of 2017.
