Wrestling Returns to Action at F&M Open

LANCASTER, Pa. –
Davidson sophomore Conor Fenn won a pair of championship matches as wrestling competed at the David H. Lehman F&M Open Saturday.
 
Fenn, grappling in the 184-pound bracket, advanced out of the first round by way of injury default before gutting out a 10-9 decision. Fenn dropped a decision and headed to the consolation bracket where he finished the day 2-2 overall.
 
Davidson junior Aidan Conroy (149) and sophomore Noah Satterfield (174), each earned first round victories. Conroy downed fellow SoCon competitor, Will Lawrence, by a 6-1 decision, while Satterfield earned his second career fall, pinning Kyle Narber of Millersville in 6:29. Conroy earned a consolation victory to finish 2-2 on the day.
 
Wildcat senior Konner Pritchard went 2-2 including a 15-0 technical fall win in his opening consolation bout. Classmate Will Cooley picked up a pair of consolation decision wins, as well. Sophomore 165-pounder Hunter Costa earned a decision in the wrestle-back round.
 
Davidson returns to the mats Friday, Jan. 12 at George Mason for a non-conference dual in Fairfax, Va.
