NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Davidson women's cross country team jumped into the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region Poll, slotting in at 13th, released by the association Monday.
The Wildcats moved into the regional poll for the first time season following an impressive showing at the adidas XC Challenge. The third place finish in Cary, N.C. Friday saw the 'Cats beat out two regionally ranked teams and Atlantic 10 foe Richmond.
Davidson returns to the trails Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Greater Louisville Classic.
