Lang Finishes T- 8th; Final Round of Marshall Invite Washed Out

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Due to heavy rain, the final round of the 2017 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational has been canceled. The annual event will be scored as a 36-hole tournament.
Second Round Recap
After opening with a 73, Davidson's Jack Lang bounced back with a four-under 67 in the second round, to finished tied for eighth at the 2017 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.
The 36-hole event was played on the Par 71, 6,523-yard Guyan Country Club layout.
Lang (73-67 = 140/-2), the 2017 Atlantic 10 Individual Champion, posted nine birdies over his two rounds to record his fifth career Top-10 finish in 20 events.
As a team, the Wildcats shot 582 (296-286) to come home 10th.
In addition to Lang's 19th career round of par or better, Davidson got even-par 71s in Monday's afternoon session from freshman Alex Ross and senior/individual competitor Nathan Tenpas.

Dayton (-6) captured the team title by a shot over the host Thundering Herd (-5), who was two clear of Eastern Kentucky (-3).
Alex Weiss (-11) of Marshall claimed the top spot on the individual leaderboard following rounds of 66 and 65.
