Jack Lang Selected to A-10 All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson's Jack Lang, the 2017 Atlantic 10 Individual Champion, has been selected to the conference's all-academic team, as announced Thursday afternoon.
A sophomore from Lexington, Mass., Lang became the program's seventh conference champion and just the third player in school history to advance to the NCAA Tournament. In addition, Lang was only the second Davidson golfer to play in an NCAA regional since the regional tournament format was adopted in 1989.
Lang, a recipient of three athletic scholarships: Dr. Tom Scott Golf Scholarship, Covington Golf Scholarship, and Southwood J. Morcott Golf Scholarship, has four-career Top-5 finishes in just 19 events.
The 2016 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year led the Wildcats this season with a 73.10 stroke average, which included 14 rounds of par or better.
