Brewster Caps Career With 5k at NCAA East Prelims

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Davidson senior Will Brewster ended a spectacular career at the 2017 NCAA East Preliminary Round Saturday night at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex.
For the second consecutive season, the Grayslake, Ill., native competed at the NCAA East Prelims in the 5,000-meter run. Brewster placed 16th in his heat and 24th overall with a time of 14:36.10.
Brewster leaves Davidson as the 5k program record holder, setting the bar at 14:07.79 in his junior season at the San Francisco Distance Carnival. He leaves Davidson with three of the top five 5k best 5k performances all-time.
