$10,000 Women's Tennis Matching Gift Challenge

Inspired by last year's fundraising success and the team's first Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship title match appearance, a group of former women's tennis players have created another $10,000 matching gift challenge to benefit women's tennis! These funds will be geared toward current priorities including the recruiting budget, travel budget and scholarship dollars to allow Coach Anundsen O'Leary to continue to succeed in the A-10.
Last year's record level of operational support provided our team the ability to fly to far away trips such as Dayton and to compete in Florida over Spring Break, while also providing us with additional, necessary training equipment. Thank you! Rolling out this targeted challenge can again propel us beyond our $25,000 fundraising goal, marking a new normal for our fundraising success! Through March 20, 2017, the combined total for the team is $7,917.27. Your participation in this challenge will ensure that we reach our goal.
All parents, friends and alumni are eligible to take advantage of this tax-deductible challenge in one of two ways:

- New donors to women's tennis and past donors who haven't yet made a gift during the 2016-17 fiscal year will be matched dollar for dollar on Davidson women's tennis gifts (i.e. your $500 gift will actually be worth $1,000 toward the program).
- Current donors (those who have made a gift since July 1, 2016) who are willing to make an additional gift will be matched at a 2 to 1 ratio on their additional gifts (i.e. your new $500 dollar increase is actually worth $1,500 to the program).
