RALEIGH, N.C. – Davidson senior Will Brewster cruised to a top-10 finish in the 5k on the opening day of the Raleigh Relays Friday at Paul Derr Track.
Brewster capitalized competing against a strong field, opening the day with an impressive 5,000-meter run. The Grayslake, Ill., native stopped the clock in 14:11.04, good for 17th overall and the 9th collegian to cross the line. Classmate Walker Mogen turned in a time of 14:40.20.
The Wildcats continue at the Raleigh Relays Saturday, Mar. 25, while others take on the Winthrop ADIDAS Invitational.
