Blasey Leads Wildcats on Final Day of UNCW Intercollegiate

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Mike Blasey paced the Davidson golf team with a three-over 75 Monday, while classmate Jack Lang recorded his third Top-20 finish of the season, placing tied for 17th at the 2017 Seahawk Intercollegiate hosted by UNC Wilmington.
In addition to Blasey (81-76-75 = 232) climbing into a tie for 37th out 76 competitors, Lang posted a 54-hole total of 225 (74-72-79).
Kent State (291-281-285=857/-7) cruised to the team title by 47 strokes over runner-up Army (309-305-290=904/+40).
The Golden Flashes' Josh Whalen (-9) claimed the individual crown by four shots over teammate, Gisli Sveinbergsson (-5).
