
Men's Track & Field Opens 49er Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Davidson men's track and field team opened day one of the Charlotte 49er Classic Friday.
Senior Will Brewster got the outdoor season started right with a fourth place result, second collegian, in the 1,500-meter run. The Grayslake, Ill., native stopped the clock in 3:52.42. Dylan Carmack mirrored Brewster with a fourth overal  second collegian, finish in the 5k with a time of 14:39.30. Junior Ramsay Ritchie broke 15:00, crossing the line in 14:56.62.
Sean Caveney qualified for the finals of the 400-meter hurdles with the third fastest preliminary time (53.79).
The Wildcats wrap-up the final day of the 49er Classic Saturday.
