Men’s Golf Opens Spring Season at Wexford Plantation

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's golf team will open their 2017 spring season at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Francis Marion, Monday and Tuesday.
The two-day/54-hole event will be played on the 6,913-yard, Par 72 Wexford Plantation layout in Hilton Head, S.C.
Jack Lang, last year's Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, led the Wildcats with a 72.72 stroke average during the fall.
Andy Simmons, Spencer Papciak, Hoke Carlton and Kevin Carlock will also tee it up for Davidson in the opener.
This year's 18-team field includes Francis Marion, Akron, Cleveland State, Dartmouth, Davidson, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Gardner-Webb, Hartford, High Point, Mercer, Oakland, Presbyterian College, Radford, Siena, USC Aiken, Winthrop, and Wofford.
