Men's Soccer ID Camp Announced

Davidson head men's soccer coach Matt Spear and his staff will direct an ID Camp on Sunday, November 26.
This is a one-day camp aimed at high school sophomores, juniors and seniors that aspire to play in college. The focus is to provide new insights for each player to accelerate his level of play, while earning an early experience into an ambitious college soccer environment.
"These ID camps are really fun and rewarding for our staff and selected current players to work with motivated high school age club players," said Spear. "The on field training simulates our college program in terms of instruction, level and speed. This enables the players to get a true feel of the college game. We also sit down with the campers away from the field to take their questions and to provide tips for their further development. We have had many campers eventually move on to our college team."
On and off the field, the day will feature insights, perspective, feedback and answers to the question of moving to the next level. Participants will interact with Davidson College NCAA Division I players. Athletic Trainer will be on site. The fee includes lunch in the Vance Athletic Center and an Under Armour T-shirt.
