Palumbo Earns Win Number 12, But Wrestling Falls at Chattanooga, 44-3

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tony Palumbo earned his team-leading 12th victory of the season, but wrestling fell in SoCon action at Chattanooga Saturday at Maclellan Gym, 44-3.
Palumbo earned a one-point decision over Moc Dalton Clark, 4-3, moving the sophomore 157-pounder to 12-4 on the season and 2-1 in conference bouts.
Wildcat Hunter Costa was in the only other decision of the day, falling at 141-pounds by a score of 6-4.
Davidson returns to the mat Thursday Feb. 2 when they travel to Campbell for a SoCon showdown with the Camels. Forst bout is slated for 6 p.m. from Buies Creek, N.C.
