Second-Half Surge Leads Davidson to Shutout Win

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Led by senior Maggie Boyd's two goals, Davidson used a three-goal second-half surge to break up a scoreless tie and went on to secure a 3-0 win at Alumni Stadium over Wofford Sunday in women's soccer.
Davidson (2-2) finished the weekend 2-0 and kept its recent unbeaten streak in the series intact against Wofford (0-4) with the victory.

• This was the 24th meeting between the two schools since 1995.
• Davidson holds a commanding 17-3-4 lead after the triumph.
• The victory pushed the 'Cats' unbeaten streak in the series vs. the Terriers to 13 (9-0-4), which dates back to 2004.
