Women's Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Davidson women's track and field team garnered US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors, announced Thursday.
The 'Cats combined for a cumulative grade point average of 3.50, the top mark in the Atlantic 10 where 11 teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team nods. Senior Hannah Rieden, who broke the programs 800 meter record three times this past indoor season, earned a spot on the A-10 Indoor Academic All-Conference Team.
"I continue to be amazed and proud of the success our student-athletes show in the classroom," said Director of Track and Field Jen Straub. "To show a true commitment to both academics and athletics is a staggering achievement and our student-athletes manage to do this every year!"
A total of 220 women's programs earned this distinction led by San Francisco's mark of 3.68.
