Playing in its first conference championship and the first No. 6 seed to play in the Atlantic 10 title game, the Wildcats concluded the 2016 season with a 28-26 record, which marks the third consecutive 28-plus-win season for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats' four-year mark of 103 wins make Davidson's seven seniors the most winningest class in program history.
Despite the loss, four Wildcats were named to the 2016 Atlantic 10 All-Tournament team, including Lee Miller, Brian Fortier, Josh Smutzer and Westin Whitmire.
