ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman Jack Lang sits tied for 20th to lead Davidson after the second round of 2016 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship at Grand Cypress Golf Club.
Sunday's third and final round will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the Par 72, 7,024-yard layout.
Lang (151/T-20), who led after 16 holes yesterday, played the back nine in one-under 35 to shoot 75.
Also competing for the Wildcats this weekend are David Sargent (155/T-31), Andy Simmons (156/T-34), Alex Nianouris (160/T-44) and Mike Blasey (164/T-49).
Davidson (309-313=622), which finished third a year ago, fell into 10th place, seven strokes behind Rhode Island.
Dayton (+13) will enter the final round one shot ahead of two-time defending champ and favorite VCU (+14), while Richmond (+16) is in third place, three back.
Adam Bell (73-70=143/-1), who captured last year's individual title, climbed to the top of the leaderboard with a two-under 70. The 63rd ranked player in the country is one clear of George Mason's Eric Edwards (72-72=144/E).
