Golf Finishes Fourth at A-10 Match Play

WESTON, Fla. – The Davidson men's golf team finished fourth at the Atlantic 10 Match Play Championship, Tuesday at Weston Hills Country Club.
Despite wins from Mike Blasey and Jack Lang, the Wildcats fell to George Mason in the consolation match, 3.5-2.5.
In addition, sophomore Spencer Papciak recorded a half a point for Davidson.

The Wildcats will host the Davidson College Invitational February 28 – March 1 at River Run Country Club.
About the A-10 Match Play Championship
The two-day event featured eight of the 11 conference members. Teams played six matches, earning one point for victory and a half point for a tie. The team with the most points advanced to the Championship side of the bracket. In the event of a tie, the winning team was decided by the most overall holes won collectively as a team.
