Davidson Suffers Setback at Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - In the final dual of the regular season, Tony Palumbo registered the lone win for Davidson as the Wildcats fell to Southern Conference rival Campbell, 42-3.
Tony Palumbo put the Wildcats on the board at 157 pounds. The freshman tallied a hard-fought, 4-3, decision over Campbell's Quentin Perez. Palumbo recorded two takedowns early in the first period and held on for victory.
Aidan Conroy put up a fight at 149 pounds, dropping a bout to Kaleb Warner, 3-1. Warner registered a takedown in the third period to secure the win.
Davidson returns to action for the Southern Conference Championship, March 5.
