
Davidson Earns USTFCCA All-Academic Accolades

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's and women's cross country teams earned All-Academic status by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Friday.
In total, 171 men's teams and 205 women's teams earned All-Academic Team status from the USTFCCCA.
The Wildcats each garnered All-Academic honors after posting cumulative GPAs better than 3.0 with five or more student-athletes competing in an NCAA regional meet.
Both squads excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.42 GPA on the men's side and a 3.57 on the women's.
The men's team finished third at the A-10 Championship before going on to finish 13th at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet. On the women's side, Davidson earned an eighth place at the conference championship and a 20th place finish at the regional meet.
