Wildcats Fall on the Road to Duquesne Sunday

DAVIDSON, N.C. – After playing to a scoreless first half, the Duquesne Dukes broke up the tie with a pair of second-half goals and Davidson fell on the road Sunday afternoon 2-0 in women's soccer Atlantic 10 action at Rooney Field.
The Wildcats dropped to 4-8-1 overall (0-3-1 A-10) on the season. The Dukes pushed their overall record to 8-3-2 and remained perfect in league play at 4-0.

• This was fifth meeting between both school's women's soccer programs, with the series, which dates back to 1999, all knotted up now at 2-2-1.
• Davidson had won last year's meeting 1-0 before the Dukes went on to win the A-10 Tournament Title.
