DAVIDSON, N.C. – Senior forward Maggie Boyd helped give the Wildcats their first Atlantic 10 win when she scored the game-winner with 6.1 seconds left in the first overtime for an exciting 1-0 victory Thursday night against UMass in women's soccer action at Alumni Stadium.
The Wildcats moved to 5-8-1 overall and 1-3-1 in league play on the season. UMass fell to 2-9-1 and 0-5 in A-10 action.

• This was just the third meeting between both school's women's soccer programs, with Davidson earning its first win in the series (1-1-1) tonight.
• In the first-ever matchup in 2014, both teams played to a scoreless tie in each others season finale at Alumni Stadium.
• UMass fell to 0-7-1 in its last eight games.
• Davidson improved to 4-3-1 at home this year, going 4-1-1 in its last six games.
• Head coach Greg Ashton moved to one win away from becoming the program's all-time winningest coach. He entered the day with 118 victories during his 12 years at Davidson to tie Kevin Hundley.
