Wildcats Earn CSCAA Scholar All-American Team Honors

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team which was announced Wednesday by the association.
The Wildcat men finished the 2015 fall semester with an overall team GPA of 3.33, while the Davidson women finished with a 3.25 GPA.
Davidson joined Fordham as the only Atlantic 10 schools to have both teams honored. The women's teams from Richmond, George Washington, Duquesne, La Salle and Rhode Island were the other Atlantic 10 teams listed. The seven women's teams tied for the fourth-most honorees among Division I conferences, trailing only the Big Ten (12), ACC (10), and SEC (10).
A total of 547 swimming and diving teams representing 354 colleges and universities, including 149 Division I institutions were recognized for their fall semester academic achievements. In order to be selected to the CSCAA All-American team, the program must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester.
The Wildcats will conclude their regular season when they travel to UNC Wilmington Saturday for a 1 p.m. dual meet.
