
Yarbrough Picks Up Second A-10 Rookie of the Week Award

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the second consecutive week, freshman Caroline Yarbrough has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
At the Charlotte Invitational, Yarbrough paced Davidson to a first-place finish. The Greensboro, N.C., native finished the 6K course 22 seconds faster than the next runner to claim victory.
This is the second weekly award for Yarbrough, who claimed rookie of the week honors Sept. 22 for her performance at the Commodore Classic.
Davidson returns to the course Oct. 9, as the Wildcats will compete in the Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C.
