Yarbrough Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman Caroline Yarbrough has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
At the 2015 Commodore Classic, Yarbrough turned in Davidson's top performance for the second consecutive week. The Greensboro, N.C., native finished the 5K course in 17:52.9 to rank 40th overall in a field featuring seven regionally ranked teams.
This is the first weekly award for Davidson women's cross country this season.
The Wildcats returns to action Sept. 25 with a trip down the road to Charlotte to compete at the Charlotte Invitational.
