BUIES CREEK, N.C – Senior midfielder Vicky Bruce picked up a pair of assists and Davidson scored its first win of the 2015 season with a 2-1 victory on the road Saturday evening at Campbell in women's soccer at Eakes Complex.
The Wildcats run their record to 1-2, while Campbell suffered its first defeat to fall to 2-1.

• Both teams were playing each other for the first time since 1998.
• Davidson holds a 3-1-1 record now in the all-time series.
• Head coach Greg Ashton won his 107th game at Davidson and is 12 wins away from becoming the program's all-time winningest coach.
• The senior duo of Sarah Tuggle and Bruce hooked up for the 'Cats' first goal and an early 1-0 lead in the 28th minute. It was Tuggle's sixth career goal.
• Freshman Mia Hodges registered her first collegiate goal at the 67:45 mark off a long through ball from Bruce to put the Wildcats up 2-0.
• Sophomore keeper Becca Ravitz earned her first collegiate start and earned the win. She finished with three saves.
