Foy To Start In Coastal Plain League All-Star Game Monday

FLORENCE, S.C. – Rising senior Sam Foy of the Davidson baseball team has been selected start at second base in Monday's Coastal Plain League All-Star Game at Sparrow Stadium at 7:15 p.m.
Foy, a 2015 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team selection, led the A-10 with 83 assists in conference play at second base. The Wilmington, N.C., native finished his junior season ranked fourth on the team with a .322 batting average, 32 runs scored, 68 hits and 30 RBI at Davidson.
The Coastal Plain League is a collegiate summer league, featuring top-notched college players from across the nation.
The CPL separated players by division and Foy will be playing for the East squad. Head coaches, broadcasters and media representatives from all 15 teams, voted on each division's roster.
The game will be broadcast live on the Time Warner SportsChannel as well as streamed live on www.coastalplain.com.
