Davidson Earns Spring CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Awards

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has honored the Davidson men's and women's swimming and diving teams amongst its Spring 2015 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams, it announced Tuesday.
The Team Scholar All-American Award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent semester.
The Davidson men posted a 3.45 GPA, the fourth highest among teams, while the women posted a 3.35. Eastern Illinois lead the women with a 3.70 GPA, while Yale led the men's side with a 3.57.
The CSCAA has designated a record 406 collegiate swimming and diving programs to received the honor this semester.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
